I feel so pleased with myself -- I sorted out my trash for recycling at Ikea!

You know how Ikea is so environmentally friendly; they charge 5 cents and 10 cents for plastic bags, and have recycled bins stationed all around the mall.

And what did I recycle? My Burger King drink!

After I finished drinking my soda I found myself a set of recycle bins at a pillar, and wondered which bin I should dump it in.

Hmm.

Aha!

I took out the straw and the plastic cover and dumped it inside 'PLASTIC', then emptied the ice into 'RESIDUAL', and finally dumped the paper cup into 'PAPER'!

So smart right, hur! I still feel so pleased with myself! =D

I never thought much about my blog; I mean, I like the way I write my blog, but it seems really amateurish compared to other ones. But recently, a reader actually gave me some feedback about my blog; giving it 10 thumbs up!

1) The content is highly unpredictable.
2) The content is not about high and lofty things but down to earth everyday stuff which one can easily relate to.
3) There's hardly much complaints and swear words which is quite typical of most teenage blogs.
4) In fact, most of them are rather amusing looks at common things.
5) The language is mostly consistent with the subject matter.
6) Comes once every few days, not too many, not too few... Just enough to tantalize readers to return.
7) Not flashy and attention seeking.
8) Short, neat and very anecdotal.
9) Very appropriate graphics.
10) Very nice author!

*With cordless phone in hand, searches for me.*
*Finds that I'm in the toilet.*

Brother: KORKOR YOUR FRIEND.

*I kept quiet, feeling embarassed. *
(What? Was I supposed to yell back, "WAIT ARH I'M COMING OUT."?)
Brother: Err, I think you can call back later?
Friend: OK...
*Friend is probably very amused. >.>*

Horrors of horrors! Today we found out that our desks got devoured by the evil Desk Monster! It rampaged our classrooms over the weekend and gobbled all our desks up!

They say you only learn to appreciate things only after you lose them, and I have learnt my lesson, oh great Desk Monster! Please regurgitate our desks! It was really difficult doing work and studying without a proper desk. Not comfortable at all...

I promise to treasure these kind of small things in life that I would not otherwise give two hoots about.

Today I got a very nice surprise from a very nice friend...


It was just so thoughtful, yet at the same time sudden, that when I received it from him I was kinda' startled! But then I felt so warm and fuzzy inside, and so I'd like to thank this very nice friend for making my day. =)

It's a commercial break now, so I'm taking the opportunity to tell you that my family has gotten our new Samsung 32" LCD TV, hurrah!

The 7th of July, 2007, has definitely got to be one of the most special days in all of time.

It was a special day for Mother Earth, as the Live Earth concerts were held all around the world on this day. (I do sincerely hope that we can change the way things are going now and save the Earth!)

It was also a special day for 777 couples who took their vows today and will begin their journey as husbands and wives.

It was also a special day for my family and me, as it is the day where we have purchased our new 32" Samsung LCD TV! XD (It'll be delivered on Monday and we can't wait!)

Ahh, this day shall go down forever in history, etched in history's stone. x)

My aunt gave my dad an oven for his birthday! Which I think is such a wonderful present; now a whole new range of cooking options are open to our family! Baked rice, cakes, cookies, pork ribs, etc.! And food has got to be another one of my family's favourites!

We open the instruction manual hoping to find out more about how to work the oven's magic, but were instead left laughing!

Emergency! Emergency!

Our comrade has been knocked out cold. All he's showing is a blue face, and won't respond to anything!

We've tried splashing him with cold water, shaking him violently, and even the defibrillator, but nothing seems to be working.

Perhaps he's in a coma; we can only hope...

But until then, we've got to survive on our reserve.

The future will be tough, but we've got to find a way to live with just that one small TV.
