Hello! Yes I know, sorrysorry for being such a terrigible blogger. >.> But well here I am again; saving my dear blog from (almost) certain death. (Yeah don't worry Shaun I won't let your pretty template die off with my blog!)
Well this post is pretty much here to conclude this *ahem* wonderful holiday *ahem*. Yeah there was lotsa' homework, lotsa' activities, little time to do stuff; the typical "holiday-that-really-isn't-one" holiday lor. But well amidst all of this I guess this holiday has really still been fulfilling; I got to learn much in all sorts of stuff. ^^
Homework aside, what I pretty much did in the holiday was to don schoolwear and get out of home for all sorts of activities. Which was definitely time well-spent. ^^
On Monday I went back to ACS(P) and helped out with the P5 Chinese Camp; it was really fun to be with the P5 kids! They were quite a handful of little monkeys, but they really impressed me with what they could do. =P Oh and the food was good too. XP
On Tuesday and Wednesday it was MEW! Yay it was so nice to be a student leader and be at the other end of the MEW; I was a participant last year, and this year I'm back and got to plan the Math Trail! All of us ACSians were to be station masters, so I was _initially_ disappointed; I wanted to lead a group. But I was pleasantly surprised when I got to take Group 11 'cos NUS High had to organise the icebreakers and stuff! Yeah yay Group 11 rocks! ^^ (Although you didn't win anything but I'm proud of you guys! ^^) And then we got to celebrate Kevin's birthday too on Tuesday; yay I'm so happy that the whole surprise and cake worked out. ^^ Couldn't have done it without Zhang Quan who helped order and Ms. Ong for being so helpful on that day too when the cake arrived 3o minutes earlier. ^^ And then we celebrated Boey's birthday too on Wednesday, even though it was one whole moon early. XD It was great of course, Boey booked the function room and we were busy eating and playing cards and stuff. ^^ Boey, the food was really good; it was like some 20-course dinner! XD And of course everyone's company was just great, amongst all the holiday homework and stuff. ^^
On Thursday the FPS team went back to school for more training; this' definitely time well spent. ^^ So we did our problem which was about Climate Change and then went for lunch with Mr. Azmi. We had Nasi Bryani and Prata, which was really tasty but lots to eat! Couldn't believe that Mr. Azmi bought so much at first. But yeah I managed to finish my share. Eventually. Slow and steady wins the race! XD
On Friday we went to Hougang to meet Aunty Vanny for our SL project; so we got down to discussing our SL project and kicked things off. ^^ But right now we haven't decided between doing Creepy Crawlies or Amazing Animals or Mother Earth or Dinosaurs for the little kiddies, hmm. Well after that I went to... The Zoo. XD Weird choice of destination, but hey it was good family time. ^^ And it's nice to, like, revisit childhood! I absolutely _loved_ the zoo when I was really young; my parents said I pestered them to no end for them to bring me there. XD But now the zoo's all renovated and new, lotsa' stuff I remember are all gone. x_x (Little early for nostalgia to kick in, hor? XD) But well I guess it's change for the better, the zoo is much cooler and newer and nicer and more world-class now. ^^ Oh but they need more food! Not for the animals, us! There isn't enough restaurants to go around, I think. I spent 1 hour queuing for my lunch at KFC. x_x The queue was sooo looong; and every single person in the queue was buying food for their entire extended family. I was _really_ worried that the chicken would all run out! Well I guess at least KFC got good business. ^^ And no food tastes better than hard-earned ones. ^^ (Yes, I got my chicken. I was one person away from the counter and there was this miserable piece left on the tray and I was all anxious! But then lo and behold a hot new tray came out and me and my stomach heaved a huge sigh of relief. XD)
Well that's pretty much my holiday this week; oh but of course with homework here and there, in between. >.> I'm still not done with my homework, but at least those are the ones that're due later in the term. ^^ So that was another fulfilling holiday, am now looking forward to... The _real_ holidays in December. XD
With a good appetite, you may either love to cook, or just love to eat! Being a laid-back kind of person, you enjoy the simple things in life. That's okay, because you don't like things moving too fast, anyway.
A kind, sweet and romantic person, you will make someone very happy someday. You often do things for people without reason, and sometimes you are unappreciated. Peaches are appealing and full of feeling, just like you.
